Description

Crocker Amazon was Fontenoy’s first green field project. We transformed an open green area into a community garden with furnishings and planting areas. The project was successful in giving the community a place to meet and grow their own produce. 

 

The park garden construction involved a large area of concrete flatwork, bordered with curved retaining walls which were formed using flexible plywood. The curved design of the park made for challenging form work for our carpenters. A sandstone color additive was mixed with the concrete which meant it blended in with the surrounding landscape.
