Description

As a prime contractor directly working with SFPUC we Installed approx. 8000 LF of 8” and 12” Mainline piping in the residential area of Forest Hill to upgrade the outdated domestic water supply to over 120 homes. As part of the overall project we installed 16 new ADA curb ramps and repaved over 14 blocks with new asphalt.
Some of the challenges we faced included:
Ensuring there was minimal impact to residents in a beautiful neighborhood while installing 2 new pipes directly up the street and causing minimal traffic delays/detours.

Co-ordinating with SFMTA along a bus commuter route to de-energize live overhead lines to work beneath and minimize disruption to public transport in a safe manner.
