Industrial Waste System Phase 2

Client: San Francisco International Airport

Contractor: Fontenoy Engineering

Project Value: $5.7M

Project Overview:

This project involved the installation of 8,000 linear feet of Fusible PVC Industrial Waste Force Main, upsizing the original piping from 8 inches to 14 inches.

It was designed to transport industrial waste collected from six pump stations across the airport to the Mel Leong Treatment Plant.

The majority of the force main was constructed using horizontal directional drilling, with open trench connections at each pump station.
