Client: University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)
Contractor: Hensel Phelps
Project Value: $4.3M
Project Overview:
This project on the UCSF Parnassus Campus BRAB (Bakar Research and Academic Building) involved the installation of domestic water, fire water, chilled water with Gilsulate backfill, storm drain, and sewer systems.
Work included trenching, dewatering, backfilling, and surface restoration.
The team also coordinated over 50 utility crossings and managed the demolition, relocation, and abandonment of existing utilities, all on a sloped site.
Traffic and pedestrian control were maintained throughout alongside close coordination with UCSF’s design team to address ongoing changes.
